Welcome to the website of Hanne Van Briel. I'm an artist and educator passionate about helping creatives and photographers explore the potential of Visual AI. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of my services and products, including AI workshops, digital resources, and physical art sales (prints and originals). By using this site or purchasing any product or service, you agree to these terms.
Before you dive into the details, know this: I created this space with care and creativity, and I want you to feel safe and respected here. Whether you're downloading a resource, joining a workshop, or collecting a piece of art, your experience matters to me.
1. Scope
These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users of this website and related services, including but not limited to:
Bookings for AI workshops (online or in person)
Purchases of digital products and downloads
Purchases of original artworks and limited edition prints
2. Booking & Cancellations (Workshops)
Bookings are confirmed upon full payment.
Cancellations must be made in writing at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session are non-refundable.
In case of technical issues or emergencies, please contact me directly—we'll find a suitable solution together.
3. Digital Products
All digital products (e.g. PDF guides, courses, templates) are delivered electronically after payment.
Due to the nature of digital goods, purchases are non-refundable.
You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the materials. Redistribution, resale or public sharing is strictly prohibited.
4. Art Sales (Prints and Originals)
At this time, art sales are limited to local delivery or pickup options.
Each piece is carefully prepared and packaged with care.
If shipping becomes available in the future, estimated delivery times and tracking information will be shared accordingly.
In case of damage during handover or local delivery, please notify me within 5 days with photo proof.
Originals and limited editions are non-refundable unless damaged upon receipt.
5. Payments
All payments are processed via trusted third-party providers (e.g. Stripe, Mollie, Plug & Pay).
Prices are shown in EUR and include VAT unless stated otherwise.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, including visuals, digital files, and AI-generated artworks, remain the intellectual property of Hanne Van Briel unless explicitly stated otherwise. Usage rights for digital products or images are granted for personal or professional use as described, but do not transfer ownership.
7. Disclaimer
AI-generated results vary and are not guaranteed.
Workshops and materials are educational and inspirational. I am not responsible for how participants implement the knowledge or outcomes.
While I strive for accuracy, I do not guarantee that all information provided is error-free or suitable for your specific needs.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hanne Van Briel shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of products, services or content provided.
9. Force Majeure
In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond my control (such as illness, technical disruptions, strikes, or natural events), I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any service or delivery. You will be notified as soon as possible, and where applicable, a refund or rescheduling option will be offered.
10. Resale and Exhibition
Original artworks and limited edition prints purchased from Hanne Van Briel are intended for personal use only. Commercial resale, public exhibition, or use in promotional contexts is not permitted without prior written consent.
11. Response Times
I aim to respond to all service-related or legal queries (e.g. privacy requests or booking issues) within 3–5 business days.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the courts of Leuven.
